Merge PDF

Combine multiple PDF files into a single PDF, in whatever order you choose.

About this tool

Merging combines two or more PDF files into a single document, in the exact page order you specify — the most common thing people need a PDF tool for, whether that's stitching together scanned pages or combining separate reports into one file.

How to use it

  1. Add two or more PDF files by dropping them in or clicking to browse.
  2. Reorder the list with the up/down arrows until the files are in the order you want them merged.
  3. Click Merge PDF to combine them and download the result.

FAQ

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server to be merged?

No — merging happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib, a client-side PDF library. Nothing you upload ever leaves your device.

Is there a limit to how many files I can merge?

No artificial limit, but merging is done in memory in your browser, so an extremely large number of large PDFs may be slow depending on your device.

What happens to the original files?

They're untouched — merging reads from your uploaded files and produces a brand-new PDF; nothing is modified in place.
