About this tool

Places a signature — drawn with your mouse/trackpad or typed and rendered in a handwriting-style font — anywhere on a PDF page, entirely in your browser. This is a visual signature (the same as printing, signing, and scanning a document), not a cryptographic digital signature.

How to use it

1. Upload a PDF and choose which page to sign.
2. Draw your signature, or switch to Type and enter your name.
3. Drag the signature into position on the page preview and use the corner handle to resize it, then click Sign PDF.

FAQ

Is this a legally binding digital signature?

No - this places a visual signature image onto the page, the same as if you printed, signed by hand, and scanned the document. It does not create a cryptographically verifiable digital signature (the kind that shows a certificate chain in a PDF reader).

Can I sign more than one page?

One signature placement per pass - upload the resulting PDF again and repeat if you need it in multiple places.

Where does the handwriting-style font come from?

A Google Font ("Dancing Script") is loaded the first time you use Type mode. Nothing about your typed name or signature is sent anywhere else - only that one font file is fetched from Google's font CDN.
